Eliot Vlatko

Senior Pastor

Eliot and his wife Sandy have a 25-year connection with the Goldfields. It began with Eliot teaching for 2 years at CAPS Coolgardie while Sandy worked at Kalgoorlie Regional Hospital. Their eldest, daughter Leah, was born in Kalgoorlie. After 17 years in Perth, Eliot and Sandy felt called back to the Goldfields, where they returned with 2 teenage sons in tow - Josh and Stephen – at the beginning of 2014. Eliot and Sandy love camping, the outback, and anything that involves water, from puddles to lakes! On bright sunny days off, with clear and cloudless blue skies overhead, Eliot finds immense pleasure in taking his Triumph Speedmaster 865 for long rides out on the highway.

Eliot loves worshipping God through his love for music. He has a heart for building up and equipping the Kalgoorlie Baptist Church family in faith and service, while sharing God’s love with people in the local community, from prisons to pubs to sporting grounds.

Over the last 12 months, Eliot has stepped up as the Local Volunteer Police Chaplain, and is very excited to be in the process of discovering the most effective ways that he can support and serve these courageous people, who serve and protect the citizens of the Goldfields.
