Church Camp

A church family camp is usually held each year in Esperance on the long weekend in September. It is a great time of growing together as a church family as we have fun, learn, worship and live together in community.

We invite a guest speaker for the weekend, who brings inspired teaching and practical biblical insights. Some of the highlights include beach activities, testimonies and baptisms in the (freezing) ocean, eating great food, and a family ‘concert/red faces/quiz’ night of some sort where we get to laugh a lot, participate and generally have a good time.

This is an especially valuable time for new people to get to know our church and feel part of the family.

Stay tuned for details about the next KBC Church Camp.

Church Camp 2026

Our next Church Camp is coming this October - and this year, we're staying closer to Home.

Two nights of camping (or glamping), Three days of fun and fellowship, Four sessions of Soul food. Our sessions will be led by Sean Marsh from OAC. While the adults are enjoying the sessions, there will be a dedicated kids program run by Kathryn and Darren Birch from Worldview Australia. Creche will also be available and run by Volunteers.

There are accommodation options to suit different needs. You can choose from Dongas (Transportable buildings) which are simply furnished with either one or two single beds. Camping space is available for those who'd like to pitch tents or bring camper trailers.

Costs are charged per person or per family depending on your choice of accommodation. All fees include meals and activities.

Day visitors are also welcome for those who aren't staying overnight, but would still like to join us for meetings, activities and meals.
