Pastor Eliot was the volunteer police chaplain and he started a ministry to the police based in Kalgoorlie that he dubbed "Operation Sausage Roll".
Every few months he would ask for donations and then buy and deliver sausage rolls to show our appreciation for the work the police do in our community. Brad Pretorius has taken the baton from Eliot and is continuing this food ministry outreach. Support can be given through the church's online bank account - please mark your donations OpSosRoll.
The police are very appreciative of this gesture.
We love this family and their wonderful music, which they have often shared with us here at KBC at our Sunday Services, NAIDOC events and funerals.
Their golden voices, generated by hearts of passion and praise, so humbly dedicated to lifting up the name of Jesus to the world, consistently minister deeply to all who hear them sing.
Captains BJ and Bethany are a great witness in the Kalgoorlie-Boulder community and the Salvos provide many services that support the welfare of others, seeing them as a whole person - body, mind and spirit. They believe that with one hand they reach out to God and with the other they reach out to the world.
From the Salvos Op Shops to Christmas hampers, emergency accommodation and other needs, the Salvation Army are serving others and KBC is happy to work with them in whatever way we can.

Foodbank is the pantry to the charity sector, a food relief organisation that is helping to feed people who experience food insecurity.
KBC has vouchers available to give to people in need so they can go to Foodbank and get foood for their families.
Volunteers are always welcome, along with donations from individuals, businesses, community organisations and all levels of government.
Goldfields Foodbank is located at 175 Forrest Street, Boulder.
