The Senior Pastor at KBC is an integral part of the Goldfields Ministers Network, which is a vibrant group of leaders who meet informally but regularly on a monthly basis to pray for revival in the Goldfields, support and encourage each other, and stand together to jointly shepherd the flock who are the Body of Christ in this region. The unity that is a hallmark of this team of brothers and sisters in Christ is uplifting and invigorating for all who experience it.
This unity has also stirred up and sustained a desire for a weekly prayer meeting on Thursday mornings, where a significant number of these leaders gather to continue pressing into God to bring revival to our land.
Members of the Ministers Network are also honoured to take their turn on the roster to open City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Council Meetings in prayer.
This passion for unity extends across many sections of the Body of Christ in the Goldfields, providing the continuing momentum for Impact the City, a monthly prayer and praise meeting of the combined churches of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, gathering together to seek the Lord to bring revival. Impact the City also is a catalyst for larger Church Together events, where the combined churches work shoulder-to-shoulder to celebrate in a more public way what God is doing among us here in the Goldfields.
Kalgoorlie-Boulder Carols by Candlelight is an annual event presented by the Goldfields Ministers' Network for the community of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
The event is organised by a committee that is formed by a committed bunch of people from various churches who plan, seek sponsors, organise logistics and pull everything together on the second Sunday in December at Centennial Park.
